Eternal Life
What will happen to you when you die? Where will you choose to go when you die?
Heaven? Or Hell?
The Creator of the universe is known as God.
He created a complex and amazingly functional world. By observing what He made you have no excuse for not believing in this intelligent designer (God).
People who design complex things like cars or planes provide you with a guide or manual on how to operate and repair these things.
God also gave you a way to operate and repair your life. This is called the Bible.
By reading the Bible, God can help you decide what you want to happen to you when you die.
God is perfect and holy. He gave us free will to choose.
We all separate ourselves from God by violating His rules. (lying, hating people, stealing…)
Romans 3:23 23 For all have sinned and fall short of the[r] glory of God.
No matter how good we think we are most of the time, the one time we sinned is too much for a holy God.
James 2:10 10 For whoever keeps the entire law, and yet stumbles at one point, is guilty of breaking it all.
Thought: (Try telling a judge in court that because you are good most of the time that he should let you go for another offense)
The punishment for sin is death.
Romans 6:23 23 For the wages of sin is death,…
God loves you personally! He sent His son (Jesus) to take your punishment.
Romans 5:8 8 But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus was beaten almost to death and then nailed to a cross (crucified). He died and his side was pierced with the sword to make sure and blood and water came out.
He was then buried in a guarded tomb.
Three days later He bodily rose again! He’s alive! And now there is a way for sinners like us to get to God.
This is how to get to God: Repent— Tell God you are sorry for all the bad things (Sin) you have done, in the name of Jesus (Who took your punishment).
Believe in Jesus: Ask Jesus to save you and receive the free gift of eternal life.
Sample Prayer:
(Father I’m sorry for sinning against you and I ask you in Jesus’ name to forgive me for all the bad things I have done and all the ways I have failed you. Jesus, please save me. I receive the gift of eternal life you have for me and I dedicate my life to you. I pray this in Jesus’ name Amen) Now read the Bible and pray to God in Jesus name daily and God will lead you.
